Description

Late 16th/early 17th century with many later alterations. 6 stage rubble stair tower but with chambers on the 2 upper floors. Of the stairs only the ones in the eastern turret leading to the upper floors are original. The tower is parapeted with crenellated angle turrets at the south east

and south west; these are corbelled at the upper floors. A variety of openings of various dates including a Y-traceried window to upper-most chamber. Single storey polygonal projection to south with ogee headed openings and crenellated parapet of 19th century date.

Statement of Interest

Formerly part of Old Lundin House demolished 1876.
