Description

Main block mid 18th century (or earlier?) N.W. and N.E. wings perhaps of similar date. (skewput detail identical) forming originally U-plan house with wings attached only by their angles; the re-entrant S.W. angle infilled by staircase wing perhaps c. 1780, the S.E. angle by two rooms later, and courtyard also infilled with single storey entrance hall etc. Considerable mid 19th century internal alterations, large drawing room formed 1st floor W. wing, and extensive offices to E. (laundry is older).

2-storey harled with margins 4-window S. centre front with slightly advanced centre gable with mid 19th century alterations. Coped chimneys. Old garden wall E. and W, former with mid 19th century circular gazebo.
