Dated 1740 at back. 2-storey and dormerless attic T-plan main house, 5-window front, 1st floor taller than ground floor, chamfered margins except at doorpiece which has square margins with rudimentary bases and capitals and rectangular fanlight of oval lights (of Hillhead, Crimond) evidently late eighteenth/early 19th Century insertion Harled, moulded eaves course straight skews. Semi-circular bay window in Fyfestone added recently. Low 2-storey back wing earlier, probably 17th century. Interior completely remodelled except for fine U-plan staircase carried on reeded columns (of Haddo House, Crimond).
