Late 18th century. Single storey, roughly 4-bay, rectangular-plan, gabled former mill building. Aligned N-S. Rubble granite with squared courses to quoins. Low, rectangular entrance to centre left of E side dropping down to lowered floor level. Boarded loft mezzanine level is probably original in design. Grey slates, lead flashing.
A plain but important vernacular building notable principally for its remarkable survival in such an unaltered condition. In recent history the building has been used as a joiner's workshop and toolshed with the original beaten earth floor preserved under a layer of gravel.
