John Smith, designed 1826, built 1833. Single, segmental-arched bridge with curved approaches, parapets swept down at abutments. Flat coped parapet over squared rubble.
The Bridge over Beltie Burn is one a group of three small bridges designed by John Smith. North Bridge and South Bridge, both over the Learney Burn, were built in 1826. Aberdeen based architect John Smith carried out many commissions in the north east of Scotland, including rebuilding part of Learney House after a fire in 1838.
