Early 19th century. 3-storey, square-plan lookout tower with inside stair, crenellated parapet and round angle-turrets. Harled brick. Vaulted 1st storey with pointed arches, and turnpike stair inside.
Several stone coffins, urns and human bones have been found on Cormie Hill which is thought to have been a military station at some time. Used as a private museum until the 1970s, now derelict.
