Dated 1826. Rectangular-plan plain Gothic church with
shallow, ashlar-built 4-stage square tower central on S gable.
Tower has diminishing stages, main door at ground, gallery level
window in 2nd stage, louvred belfry opening to each elevation of
4th stage, and spirelet. Body of church now pebble-dashed with
exposed ashlar margins; mostly pointed openings with Y-tracery,
tall windows each with 2 transomes: E flank 3 windows, 4-window
W flank. Shaped skews, flue set above SW angle; slate roof.
INTERIOR: good octagonal pulpit, with back board central on W
wall; panelled gallery to 3 sides supported on slender cast-iron columns, modern communion table; single leaded window circa
1938.
Ashlar-coped retaining wall to E with 2 chamfered square
gatepiers, cast-iron gates and railings.
Ecclesiastical building in use as such.
War memorial not included in listing.
