Early 19th century in appearance, but probably incorporating
earlier house; some alterations. 2-storey 3-bay double-pile
farmhouse with twin-gabled end elevations. Whitewashed rubble
with painted ashlar margins; windows all sashes; mostly with
12-pane glazing pattern. Gabled porch central on S elevation,
inserted flanking bipartites with plate glass glazing, 3 1st
floor windows. End and off-centre axial stacks. Roofs covered
with graded slates, and swept at N over rear outshot, porch
in re-entrant angle.
