Description

Probably 1820-30. Picturesque Gothick single storey 3-bay
cottage with pointed openings. All built of whin rubble,
including arches. S elevation: boarded central door with
small-paned fanlight; sash windows with 6-pane glazing
pattern (modern window slapped in either flank). Corniced
central axial stack; piended slate roof, swept centrally at
rear (N) forming shelter between lean-to and modern addition.

Statement of Interest

Almost identical to Sawmill Cottage.
