Circa 1800. 2-storey 3-bay Classical house (formerly
farmhouse) with plain rear wing. Mostly whin rubble, red
ashlar dressings; much-altered rear wing is harled. S
elevation: (painted) central Roman Doric-columned wide porch,
doorway and sidelights all round-headed with pilastered
jambs, panelled door with fanlight; tripartite above with
blind outer lights, corniced ground floor windows; all
windows 12-pane sashes, cills with guttae. Eaves/lintel
band; cornice; blocking course, raised over central window.
Single corniced end stack survives; piended roof covered with
graded slates.
Interior: panelled doors in architraves; depressed-arched
screen in hall below cantilevered stair (latter with
decorative cast-iron balusters); some ceiling plasterwork;
dado panelling; chimney-pieces.
