Essentially circa 1800, some alterations, and perhaps
incorporating some earlier fabric. 2-storey, 3-bay house.
Rubble-built, dressings mostly stugged (some droved
dressings at lower SE angle); S front harled, enlarged
1st floor windows with slab margins. All whitewashed, with
contrasting painted margins.
S (MAIN) ELEVATION: gabled central porch not original;
slightly wider left bay with cellar opening. Sash windows
with 12-pane glazing pattern. Eaves course; straight skews;
end stacks; roofed with graded slates. Rear lean-to with
main roof swept over long single storey range of
outbuildings to W with coachhouse, stable and centre-doored
3-bay cottage.
