Description

Mid 18th century farmhouse with courtyard steading including
good 1778 (dated) barn. Alterations and additions. All
whitewashed rubble and ashlar dressings, roofs mainly covered
with graded slates.
HOUSE: 2 storeys, 3 bays, large wide gabled wing central on
S front, central porch to courtyard. End stacks.
STEADING: mid 18th century barn in W range is principal
element; depressed-arched and key-blocked barn door central,
flanking slit ventilators. Integrated 19th century L-plan
range adjoins barn N gable. Detached range at E.
