Earlier 19th century. Single storey, T-plan school. modern roughcast walling, polished raised red sandstone margins. Porch to re-entrant angle with catslide roof, door with fanlight. Original door to W now blocked; flanked by windows. Flat-roofed extension to rear. All windows single light, sash and case with 14-pane lying pane glazing. End skew, coped end stacks with octagonal cans, good graded slate roofs. Sandstone ridges. Rubble walls surround school.
