Description

Circa 1800. Single storey and attic, 3-bay house over raised
basement, continuous band at basement lintel level,
rusticated quoins above. All painted, droved ashlar. East
elevation: central pilastered doorpiece approached by steps
round-headed doorway, panelled door, fanlight with
intersecting tracery; single windows in outer bays have
6-pane upper sashes (12-pane basement windows). Moulded eaves
cornice; swept-roofed inner and canted and later gabled outer
dormers with decorative bargeboards; corniced end stacks;
slate roof. 12-pane sashes to west wall, stair window breaks
band course; garage opening inserted in north gable.
