Description

Built circa 1880. Former school and adjoining 2-storey
schoolhouse all arranged in H-plan with principal elevation
to west. Built of stugged and squared rubble with ashlar
dressings. School (to north) has large mullioned and
transomed gable windows (small porch with shelters adjoining
to north); schoolhouse has mostly bipartite windows, lean-to
porch in re-entrant angle with pointed-headed west-facing
doorway. Shaped skews with gabletted skewputts. Coped axial
stacks; slate roofs. Set behind coped, low, ashlar-built
boundary wall.
