Description

Built 1823. Single-storey school now converted to form 4
cottages, with addition at north gable. Stugged and squared
rubble, whitewashed, with contrasting black-painted ashlar
margins (addition is rendered). Long east elevation: central
and outer bays gabled (latter advanced also), blind cusped
opening in each gable head; 3 boarded and glazed doors each
with triple-arched fanlight; (4th door in addition)
small-paned sash windows throughout. Straight skews; corniced
end and axial stacks; axial ventilators; slate roofs (graded
slates over main roof).
