Description

PIER: 19th century L-plan arm projecting into sea probably incorporating 18th century material. Rubble, some concrete dressings.

PROMENADE: long rubble promenade fronting houses and raised above shore.

Statement of Interest

In 2008 Aberdeenshire Council provided Historic Scotland with the reference to the historical information (held at the National Archives) on the history of Crovie Harbour. It includes letters and licensing details for work to be carried out in 1884.
