Description

Richard Crichton 1801-5. Centre originally 3-storey (low 2nd)
and basement with S. centre 1st raised through 2nd floor with
Venetian and pediment. Top floor and chimneys removed, but
centre S. front retained at original height and interior
recast, Claude Phillimore and Jenkins 1964-6. Ashlar 5-window
S. front, ground-floor windows in arched recesses, 4-column
Ionic portico, Venetian above flanked by square recesses;
5-bay R-doric links to 1 1/2 storey wings, 3-window with
single centre window in arched recess of advanced centre bay.
