L-plan, 3-storey, rubble tower; vaulted ground floor, later buttresses; upper parts altered. Round arched doorway, now inside, with Heron panel and date 1678 (weathered). Staircase repaired with two tomb slabs, one gothic, headless bas-relief figure, other romanesque or earlier, 2 figures in lower half, 2 figure group above with harp, horn and dog. South front of south wing refaced, large towered mansion added Andrew Heiton, archt. 1884.
