Description

Early to mid 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay cottage with
central door and flanking windows. Limewashed rubble, with
largest blocks forming base course. End stacks, pitched
corrugated iron roof.

Statement of Interest

Domestic. Was last surviving thatched dwelling in Jura. This

cottage is of the improved (mortar built) type.
