Description

c.1760. Georgian. Oblong. Thinly rendered; Limewashed
Slate roof. Small belfry at W. end. Gabled porch at
centre of N. side. 2 'Gothic' windows on S. side.
Small gabled addition at W. end. Interior: Timber
ceiling; coombed plastered. Fine oak pulpit; broken
segmental pediment; approach steps. Refurnished c.1900.

Statement of Interest

Ecclesiastical, in use as such. Kilcalmonell is

still united ecclesiastically with Kilberry although

the civil parish was disjoined in 1891. Surrounded by

ancient burial ground which is Scheduled Ancient

Monument No 3676.
