Description

Later 19th cent. Scots Baronial. 2 storeys, laigh floor,
and garret. Stugged ashlar; dressed face-work. Platform
roof behind crenellated parapet. Angle turrets. Moulded
window architraves. High crenellated porte-cochere;
plaster ribbed vault. Lower offices to E.

Statement of Interest

Ballimoro was formerly called Otter but when the estate

changed hands in earlier 19th century the name Otter

was transferred to Achagoyl House and the estate was

renamed Ballimore.
