Description

Tapered cross-slab with reliefs of animals on cross side
and horsemen animals &c. on rear. Said to have been
brought here from Bal-na-Croisk near the mouth of the
Sma' Glen.

Statement of Interest

This cross was moved from the crossroads of the village into the Parish Church in 1991.

The cross was previously a Scheduled Monument. It was removed from the Schedule of Monuments in March 2011.

Statutory address updated 2011. Previously listed as Cross of Fowlis.
