Description

Square clock-tower with octagonal stone spire (c.1755), in niche a bronze statue (1922) of "Habbie Simpson". Two-storey village hall of 1782 recently restored (former school and meal-market). David Kerr Kilbarchan, master mason.

Statement of Interest

Descheduled 21 January 1998. Habbie Simpson (1550-1620) was the piper of Kilbarchan. Statue is replica of wooden one of 1822.
