Description

Possibly James Burn, circa 1824. Single storey, 3-bay classical gate lodge. Stugged ashlar.

SE AND SW ELEVATIONS: arcaded with base course, impost course, eaves course and blocking course. Door to SE with strip fanlight, flanked bywindows. Rendered and lined extension to NW with additional arch and window. 2 blind windows to SW. 2 windows at rear. Sash and case windows with lying-pane glazing pattern. Pyramidal roof with grey slates, red ridge tiles. Squat rendered central stack. 4 square ashlar paired gatepiers, corniced, with chamfered angles.
