Description

18th century. Single storey and attic former weaver's cottage. Dry dash walls, slate roof, ashlar coped skew, ashlar and brick stack. Out-of-character modern timber and leaded windows and door, painted and chamfered margins. FRONT ELEVATION: door to centre, 2 windows to left, 1 window to right; 2 cat-slide dormers with 2-pane sash and case windows and modern boarded fronts; coped skew to right, stack with small thackstane.

REAR ELEVATION: not seen.

INTERIOR: not seen.

Statement of Interest

This house forms part of a terrace of single storey and attic houses

of various 19th century dates, perhaps incorporating some 18th century walls. All have been unsympathetically altered, but the terrace nevertheless retains some architectural and picturesque quality.
