Description

1896. Single storey, U-plan former stable and coach house to Drimla Lodge, now converted for domestic use. Red brick, red ashlar dressings, piended red tile-effect roof, terracotta ridge tiles and finials, oversailing brick ridge stacks. Various doors and windows of differing patterns.

INTERIOR: not seen.

GATEPIERS, GATES AND RAILINGS: 3 cast-iron gatepiers with gates and adjoining railings (railings engulfed in mature hedge).

Statement of Interest

The building is C(S) listed despite its (sympathetic) conversion to domestic use because of its relationship to Drimla Lodge.
