Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 4-bay house, in terrace. Painted rubble. Painted base course. Heavy painted lintels.

E (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: door in bay to left of centre; boarded door and letter-box fanlight. Regularly disposed fenestration, except at 1st floor in bay to right of centre.

S ELEVATION: adjoined to higher building, No 54 Main Street (see separate listing).

N ELEVATION: adjoined to No 58 Main Street (see separate listing).

Sash and case windows, with mainly 12-pane glazing and some 4-pane glazing. Painted brick mutual gablehead stack to N. Purple slates.
