Early to earlier 19th century. Squat circular crenellated tower.
Rubble. Angled rubble merlons to crenellated parapet (some merlons disintegrating). Curved forestair clasped to outside of tower to S; parapet to forestair, with angled rubble coping; coped course below forestair parapet; short length of coped wall adjoined at foot of forestair to SE. Rubble walls, with angled rubble coping, adjoined to tower to NE and SW.
Formerly listed as "Logan House Tower". The tower is marked as "Round Tower" on the OS Map of 1848, as "Tower" on the OS Map of 1906, and as "Folly Tower" on the OS Map of 1978. The tower is becoming dilapidated (1992). See separate listings for Logan: Bridge; Hen Knowe Cottages;
