Description

Formerly a group of cottages, partly mid-later 18th century,
partly early 19th century. 2-storey, L-plan range.
Rubble-built and painted, some tooled, some chamfered
margins. Sash and case windows. High Street frontage: at
right (adjoining Mill Cottage) mid to later 18th century.
4-bays (probably 2 or 3 dwellings originally). Central pend
flanked by door and window to each side, 4 1st floor windows.
Moulded eaves course. Slate roof (originally thatched). At
rear: forestair, corrugated asbestos roof.
To left: probably early 19th century. Irregular door and
window openings. Squared eaves course; slate roof piended at
E. Return to lane, 3 bays with centre door and 2 windows
(plus one additional window at ground), 2 windows to 1st.
