Description

4 storey and attic tower-house with fine dormer heads and square pyramid roofed corbelled angle turrets. Enriched moulding to doorway. Ascribed by MacGibbon & Ross to early 17th cent. dated 1673 at dormer head. East wing added (? in 1673) 2 storey and attic, remodelled in manner of Bryce and 3 storey and attic section inserted dated 1848: eastern service (now entrance) court added early 19th century central gateway flanked by crenellated walls:

remodelled and south wall crenellated 1959. Harled and crowstepped throughout.
