Description

Dated 1821. Simple rubble hump back bridge; tooled rubble
arch ring and parapet. Inscribed ashlar plaque let in south
face of north parapet with Gaelic inscription and date.

Statement of Interest

Unusual worn Gaelic inscription part of which reads "Drochaid

sole O'Bnshar O'Cuaha". Drochaid = bridge Now by-passed.
