Later 19th century. 2-storey gabled house with 1st floor
breaking eaves and with single storey rear extensions. Rubble
with ashlar dressings, chamfered arrises to openings, raised
quoins.
N ELEVATION: asymmetrical 3-bay. Door at centre, panelled
door, flanked by window at ground to right and with 1st floor
windows to both bays breaking eaves in gabled dormerheads.
Outer left bay gabled and advanced, with projecting,
rectangular bay at ground with tripartite window, raised in
regrettable manner later, and given bipartite a first floor.
S ELEVATION: gabled bay to outer right, with single storey
gabled L-plan extension at ground, creating trio of gables.
Centre and left bay advanced slightly with re-entrant corner
formed at outer left.
E AND W ELEVATION: blank, with small 1st floor window to left
of E elevation.
Multi-small-pane glazing pattern to most sash and case
windows. Gable end stacks. Purple grey slates and swept
eaves; plain barge boarding.
RETAINING WALLS: low rubble parapet by recessed bays at N
front, with higher rubble walls to garden.
Piend-roofed outbuilding to NW, presumably former stable.
