Description

Early 19th-century. Single storey 3-bay cottage. Clay and
bool harled with painted margins. Varied glazing. Ridge stack
next High Street set slightly in from north gable formerly
serving a 'hinging lum' or timber canopy. Corrugated iron
roof.
Small single-storey extension at south gable. Porch/passage
links cottage to modern shop.

Statement of Interest

Canopy served by High Street chimney now partitioned off but

probably still in situ. Shop not included in listing.
