Dated 1851 but incorporating later 18th century building as
rear wing. 2-storey, 3-bay house with centre door. Harled
with ashlar margins. Modern glazing. End stacks; slate roof.
Later 18th century single storey, 4-bay rear wing with
pantiled roof.
High rubble garden wall.
The Brae previously known as The Toft House. Date on left
skewputt.
Built on site of house (demolished 1834) of Sir Robert Innes
of Innes in which Charles II signed Solemn League and
Covenant in 1650.
1989: District Council informed HBMD that the cast-iron
railings have gone, probably circa 1983, now a blockwork
wall.
