Description

Dated 1864. S facing 2-storey, L-plan house; coursed grey
rubble, tooled grey ashlar dressings. Centre lean-to porch
in re-entrant angle; 2-light windows with centre wooden
mullions; gabled dormer at 1st floor with datestone; 12-pane
glazing; coped end and wallhead stacks; simple bargeboards
supported by ashlar brackets; slate roof.

Statement of Interest

Plaque initialled S for Sutherland in gable apex. Good

example of Sutherland estate dwelling house.
