Earlier-mid 19th century, single storey, 4-bay cottage; all
white washed clay and rubble; painted margins. Entrance at
right, flanked at right by window; 2 other windows more widely
spaced. 4-pane glazing; end stacks; small off-set ridge stack; corrugated iron roof. Small timber extension to rear.
Set in wall, between 2 left bay windows, is cable moulded
carved red stone plaque inscribed "My dog Thatch, he had to die. 1947-1971." Unaltered example of type of fisher cottage
localised in Tarbat Peninsula. Off-set stack replaces earlier
clay stack serving clay and wattle "hanging lum"
