Description

William Stirling, c1837-38. U-plan court, open to the South,
symmetrical scheme. N range, single-storey and loft, 3
segmentally arched cartshed, arches at centre to court W and
E ranges, single storey, rectangular 2 storey pavilions with
chamfered angles, piended roofs with gablets over splays.
Small single storey wing at NW, later additions. NE forming
small second court open to S. Rubble built with droved
margins, pavilions stugged coursers, segment-headed
ground floor openings, small square upper windows, bracketted
eaves, octagonal shafted chimneys.
