Description

Dated 1874. A simple rectangular building in red bullnosed sandstone with ornamental gable bellcote; apse at other end contains the vestry.

Site is that of several earlier churches supposedly dedicated to St Gordian or Gorgham; bell is dated 1483. In the churchyard is a headstone of 1845 commemorating David Ritchie, the Black Dwarf, who died in 1811.
