Late 18th century. 2-storey, 5-bay rectangular-plan terraced pair of cottages built on corner site; openings largely altered. Harled. Battered base course.
SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorway in 2nd bay; panelled door; single window at 1st floor above. Doorway in 3rd bay; boarded door. Large bipartite window at ground in 1st bay; smaller bipartite window at 1st floor. Single window at ground in 4th bay; bipartite window at 1st floor. Single windows in bay to outer right.
Small pane timber windows to The Cottage; 4-pane sash and case windows elsewhere. Grey slate roof, swept at eaves; harled gablehead stacks (brick to NE); thackstanes.
INTERIOR (Mr Poole): moulded pilasters forming remains of box bed in upper floor bedroom (bed itself removed).
