Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse, with gabled wings to north. South elevation is coursed, squared rubble with painted margins; central, later, harled and gabled porch. Plate glass sashes. Straight skews; coped end stacks; slate roof. Triangular-plan garden enclosed by rubble-built walls with blocked gateway to south; rubble gatepiers with ornate late 17th century decorative urns (probably from Newark Castle).
