Description

Late 18th and early 19th centuries. T-plan. Front early 19th
century, main house single-storey and attic with part
basement in sloping site, granite ashlar. 2-window and
centre door elevation, 12-pane sashes, 6-panelled door with
rectangular reglazed fanlight, railed steps, gabled
slated roof with 3 canted dormers and end stacks:
interesting treatment of lower piended wings which have
circular front windows and are slightly advanced,
overlapping the front elevation of the main building by the
thickness of the gable wall; original farmhouse now forms
back wing, substantial 2-storey, east side, 3-window harled
with margins, late and centre porch, link to early 19th
century front wing has timber canted bay, north gable
coursed rubble with 2 small attic lights, ashlar stacks.
Straight skews, slated roofs, partly reslated.
