Dated 1816. Centre piers gone, outer piers survive, broad circular R-doric type with no bases and round abaci surmounted by urns. Memorial tablet to Pitt and Viscount Melville between R-doric pilasters of red granite in screen wall on E.
The Lodge itself, 2-storey 3-window with broad eaved piend roof appears to have been altered. These and the other Pitfour items before 1852 are presumably the work of John Smith who is credited with the house in the A.P.S.D.
