Circa 1840. Extensive group of cattle-courts etc. 1/2-storey
harled with margins, long approximately symmetrical frontage.

Statement of Interest

Tillyfour was the head quarters of William McCombie

(1805-80), 'The king of graziers.'

Visited by Queen Victoria 1866: first tenant farmer to be

returned as M.P. in Scotland.
