Description

Inscribed 'Beneath this building rest the remains of many
generations of Meldrums Setons and Urquharts of Meldrum/AD
1236 to 1863'. Simple square rubble-built roofless enclosure,
3 slits each side.

For present parish church see Old Meldrum Burgh. The parish

was originally known as Bethelnie until the church was

transfered to the village 1684.
