Description

Archibald Simpson, probably 1835. Small mansion house,
2-storey with low first floor, severe classic harled with
granite dressings, low pitched broad-eaved roof. Simple
masterly asymmetrical composition consisting of symmetrical
elements. Main part 3-window with consoled ground floor
windows centre projects with round arched porch canted bay
to N. Lower U-plan S. part with symmetrical S. front.
