Description

Early 19th century with additions. 2-storey farmhouse with
steading to E. All rubble-built and white-washed, with ashlar
dressings and painted margins; roofs covered with graded
slates.
HOUSE: 2 adjoining 2-storey 3-bay ranges in T-plan
arrangement, and with central gabled porches. Sash windows
throughout, mostly with 4-pane glazing. N gable has skews.
End stacks.
STEADING: long low range with roof ventilators adjoins house
N gable; principal detached range, to E of house, mainly
single storey, taller at W end (barn), 2 doors, 2 small
lights and 2 loft windows all face S, loft door on banked N
elevation. 2 detached single storey ranges at SE (one
twin-gabled) linked by midden wall.
