Description

Late 18th/early 19th century. Single-segmental-arched
bridge, carrying N drive to Westerhall House in hairpin
bend over Kirk Burn. Rubble-built, with V-channelled
voussoirs; modern iron railings on low ashlar coping linked
to square terminal piers: latter also built of ashlar, with
projecting pyramidal caps.

Distant view in 1911 sale catalogue held in SNMR shows original iron parapet.
