Description

Mid 19th century 2-storey and attic large villa with 3-bay
L-plan front dominated by advanced gable left-canted window
at ground, tiny 2-light oriel above; porch in re-entrant
angle. Stugged ashlar, polished dressings; blocked eaves;
sash windows with horizontal glazing; skews and kneeler
skewputts; roofed with graded slates, prominent apex finials
and stacks. E flank elevation similarly composed and N
elevation also L-plan; low wing to W.
Screen wall to roadside, plain gatepiers with shaped caps.

Roundels set over interior doors said to be from Closeburn

Hall.
