Description

Earlier 19th century. Single-storey, north-facing 3-bay
lodge, built on steep slope above stream, with basement to
west and low outbuilding adjoining. Whitewashed rubble with
painted ashlar margins, openings all pointed-arched. Central
boarded door on north elevation, 2 windows on south wall,
single bay flan (west window blocked by outbuilding roof).
Windows mostly sashes with small panes. Piended
corrugated-iron roof.

Statement of Interest

Used for a time as a hatchery.
